Prusa smooth PEI printing plate

The MK52 heated bed features embedded high-temperature magnets. These magnets are capable of securely holding removable spring steel sheets. The spring steel sheet with a smooth, double-sided PEI uses the same PEI films as the MK2/S. It is the best solution for printing PLA and offers excellent adhesion on almost all materials. The underside of your prints will be smooth. You may leave small marks on the print surface with your nozzle or tools, which are typically shinier than the rest. However, the functionality and adhesion remain unaffected. If you want a consistent surface appearance across the entire print bed, you can post-process it. The easiest way is to take the hard side of a dry kitchen sponge and gently wipe the affected area in a circular motion a few times. Update: The color of the steel sheet may differ from the product image (black, gold, green, etc.). The smooth PEI surface on the steel sheet, as well as all other properties, remain consistent across all color variants.
