Prusament PC Blend (Polycarbonate) is the perfect material for stronger, more durable 3D prints. Polycarbonates are a group of plastics known for their strength, mechanical resistance, toughness, and temperature resistance. They are commonly used in the production of CDs, safety glasses, or car headlights. The composition of pure polycarbonate is a material that is not suitable for 3D printing. It adheres very poorly to the print bed and tends to deform and crack due to its high thermal expansion. We have carefully added selected additives to the blend that improve adhesion and reduce cracking and warping while maintaining the excellent properties of polycarbonate. Prusament PC Blend is suitable for advanced users. If you are new to 3D printing, we recommend sticking to easier-to-print materials like PLA and PETG. PC Blend is recommended for experienced 3D printer owners looking for a robust, durable material for creating prototypes and functional parts, as well as thermally and mechanically stressed components.
