Prusa MINI Satin-finish powder-coated sheet steel

The heated bed features embedded magnets with a high Curie temperature. These magnets are capable of securely holding removable spring steel sheets. With the satin sheet, we are expanding our range of print sheets. In terms of printing properties, the satin sheet falls between the smooth and textured variants. Its powder-coated surface with a slightly structured, matte finish offers optimal adhesion, especially when printing with PLA and PETG materials. It is fully compatible with a wide range of common and less common filaments, such as ABS, ASA, FlexFill 98A, polycarbonate, polypropylene, and more. The vast majority of materials can be printed without a release layer, such as adhesive. Polycarbonate prints better on satin compared to smooth and textured sheets. When frequently printing with PC, a glue layer is recommended to avoid potential damage to the sheet. Warning: Never clean the satin powder-coated spring steel sheet with acetone. This will lead to micro-cracks in the texture, causing the surface to deteriorate over time.
