Properties of HTPLA Fiber from the PLA Plastic Family

Proto-Pasta Carbon Fiber Composite HTPLA is a combination of ground carbon fibers and high-performance PLA.

When combined with the annealing of HTPLA, the material achieves a heat deflection temperature (HDT) of 155 °C.

How to Anneal

Annealing objects made with HTPLA is not difficult, but it must be done correctly for the best results.

1. Preheat the oven to 95-110 degrees.

2. Once the oven is preheated, place your printed object inside. We recommend placing the object on a flat aluminum sheet or similar. Set a timer for 10 minutes.
