PrimaCreator FlexPlate - Powder Coated PEI

The new powder-coated FlexPlate from PrimaCreator consists of three parts. The first is the magnetic surface that attaches to the printer bed. The second and third parts are the high-quality spring steel sheet coated with a plate of the finest PEI Ultem. The FlexPlate - Powder Coated PEI is the perfect surface for printing; it is very durable and easy to handle. The best part is that your prints can be easily removed thanks to the flexible plate. A slight bend is all it takes for the print to release.

The PrimaCreator FlexPlate - Powder Coated PEI is based on a ferrite core, which is significantly more heat-resistant than neodymium magnets. This FlexPlate can easily withstand temperatures up to 130 °C, making it suitable for use with ABS. PrimaCreator's PEI Ultem (Polyetherimid) is a reusable, relatively low-maintenance build surface for ABS (with a heated bed) and PLA (hot or cold), but other materials such as metal, wood, PETG, ABS+, and many others also work excellently. You don't need additional adhesives like glue or tape. PEI is attractive because it does not require surface treatment and is therefore easy to work with. Additionally, no support structures are necessary for printing on PEI, as the parts adhere directly to the surface without issue.

How to use: Unpack your FlexPlate, attach the magnetic surface to your print bed, and then place the spring steel plate with the attached PEI on the magnetic surface. Remove the protective film from the PEI and re-level your print bed. Now you can start printing. The parts should release from the surface almost effortlessly. PLA does not require heat, but it helps to warm the heated bed to 45 °C. You don't need glue, but if you want to print something large or long-term, we recommend using PrimaFix adhesive.
