The PowerWalker VFD APFC series is a standby/offline UPS for home and office applications. It is equipped with a technology that allows the full power of the UPS to be utilized, even when used with an APFC power supply load. Typically, it is necessary to oversize a UPS to ensure secure backup when connecting a power supply with active power factor correction. With this implemented technology, that is no longer needed. Therefore, you can choose a smaller, cost-effective UPS (e.g., PowerWalker VFD APFC instead of the usual offline or line interactive 1000 VA model). In addition to the lower purchase price, it also saves on energy costs due to lower power consumption.
