The PowerColor Radeon RX Vega 56 Red Devil is a true high-end graphics card for gamers, equipped with many gaming-specific features. Like the reference design, PowerColor relies on High Bandwidth Memory (HBM) in the second generation of this revolutionary fast memory.

The 8 GB HBM2 memory operates at 800 MHz and is connected to the graphics chip (GPU) via a 2048-bit memory interface. One of the special features of HBM memory is its placement directly on the GPU die (i.e., within the graphics chip) rather than on the PCB as is customary. The graphics card features a BIOS switch that allows for three different BIOS versions to be set for silent, standard, and overclocked operation.
