With the PNY Pro Elite V3, you have to make a choice: You can either buy the stick with a USB-C connection or with an A connector. In either case, the connection disappears into a metal housing if desired, while the stick itself is made of plastic. We tested the smallest version with 256 GB; the 1 TByte version was still just over 100 euros at the time of going to press...
The clever, retractable design of the PNY Pro Elite V3 SSD also makes it one of my favourite USB sticks with 10 gigabits per second. True, the SSD is only the third fastest I've tested. But thanks to its ingenious form factor, it's the one I keep in my pocket just in case.
