Play-Zone Wayne and Layne Bricktronics Breakout Board
Product details
Do you want to connect LEGO Mindstorms NXT motors or sensors to a breadboard, or create a prototype of your own sensors for a LEGO Mindstorms NXT brick? The Bricktronics Breakout Board Kit breaks out the pins from a common, injection-molded NXT-compatible socket with a 0.1" standard layout.
Contents
This kit includes a Bricktronics Breakout Board PCB, a custom NXT-compatible socket, a 6-pin header, and two 82 k resistors that you will need if you are creating your own I2C peripherals for the NXT.
Build it
If you purchase the unassembled version, you will need basic through-hole soldering skills. You will need at least one soldering iron and solder. Clear instructions are available on the Bricktronics Breakout Board project website.
Typically, assembly takes less than ten minutes, but it may take longer or shorter depending on your soldering experience.
