Pioneer DJ

The DDJ-800 2-channel DJ controller is a professional DJ setup that can easily go with you anywhere. This portable unit offers the club-style control layout and popular features of the DDJ-1000, including color-on-jog displays, in a lighter package. The result is a professional performance controller that's easy to take to your gigs, such as weddings, parties, and wherever else you DJ. Thanks to the compatible feedback limiter feature in rekordbox DJ, you don't have to worry about MCs running their mic right in front of the speakers. The system will automatically dial down the whistling, which is especially handy when two mics are connected at the same time. The DDJ-800 also lets you mix from external sources and add your own style to your performances with Sound Color FX, Beat FX, EQs, and Trim. Although it feels like the top-of-the-line DDJ-1000 controller in terms of operation, the DDJ-800 is a full 1.3 kg lighter and easy to carry around.

Thanks to the customizable color LCD screen (On Jog Display) in the center of each jog wheel, you can keep your eyes on the deck without having to look at the computer. It shows you the most important information, whether it's BPM, waveform, playback position, or hot cue and loop points. Even if you leave the microphone to a guest speaker or MC, you can stay cool: the feedback limiter function of rekordbox DJ detects feedback immediately and adjusts it down in a flash, so you always have the audio sound under control. Performing on the DDJ-800 feels like performing on NSX2 pro setups. The knobs, buttons, and faders are arranged in the same way as on the club standard CDJ players and DJM mixers. Using the appropriate trimmers, channel faders, and EQs, the DDJ-800 also lets you incorporate external audio sources into your performance. When the controller is connected to rekordbox DJ, you can also use the Sound Color FX and Beat FX effects.
