The Snap® ballpoint pen is characterized by its clear and formal design language, tailored for those who appreciate a puristic minimalist aesthetic. This design approach is complemented by a pearlescent coating that enhances the overall high-quality impression.

The pen's name comes from its clip, which engages with the push mechanism when the refill is extended. Pressing the upper part of the clip releases the mechanism and retracts the refill.

The Snap® ballpoint pen is primarily made from recyclable metal. Both the push button and the aluminum barrel are cylindrical in shape, transitioning into a conical brass tip. The relatively heavy brass tip, compared to aluminum, shifts the center of gravity towards the tip, allowing for ergonomically optimized writing. The pen is equipped with a replaceable large-capacity refill with a soft tip (size M) and blue ink that is document-safe according to ISO 12757-2.

While the push button, clip, and tip are shiny chrome-plated, the aluminum barrel features a pearlescent finish. This gives the pen its metallic shimmer, available in colors such as silver, platinum, gold, rose gold, copper, and frost blue.
