to 99 cable types The network tester is a multifunctional device that enables high accuracy and fast measuring results. When used appropriately, the network tester can be used to measure cables that have already been laid and cables that are yet to be laid. The network tester can measure cable lengths of up to three kilometres. This is done using a time-domain reflectometer. On the network tester itself, 20 standard cable types are pre-stored and a further storage of up to 99 cable types is also possible on the unit itself. The stored data can be viewed directly on the unit and can thus be used as desired. Due to the built-in technology, comparatively short cables can already be tested. The minimum length of a cable that is to be tested with the network tester is five metres. To increase the battery life, the device switches off automatically after 10 minutes of inactivity. This automatic switch-off can be individually set by the user at intervals of 10 minutes. In addition to the automatic switch-off, the device offers a bright TFT display, which makes it easy to read the measurement results due to its backlight.
