The black matte reflector serves as a stylish design element and provides glare-free, indirect light. Drop lamps are ideally suited for use in small fixtures due to their compact design. The shape corresponds to that of a classic incandescent bulb or a conventional halogen light source. Therefore, these drops are also referred to as retrofit light bulbs.
