Once it reaches the brightest (100%) or darkest (10%) setting, it stays at that level for about 2 seconds before allowing the dimming process to start again. If the light shines at the desired brightness during a dimming process, you can save the light intensity using the memory function by turning the light off. When you turn it back on, it will light up at the saved brightness, and this setting will be retained.
