Ortofon LH 10000

The LH-10000 is an exceptionally high-quality headshell made from a high-performance aluminum alloy with zinc as the primary alloying element. The aluminum alloy used for the LH-10000 is very stable, with a strength comparable to steel. It has good fatigue resistance and machinability, while offering higher corrosion resistance than many other aluminum alloys. The LH-10000 features a precision-engineered slot on the top plate, into which a piece of the TPE blend (Thermo-Plastic Elastomer) developed by Ortofon is integrated, providing excellent damping properties. The LH-10000 utilizes a similar damping technology as the Ortofon TA-110 / TA-210 tonearms and the Xpression cartridge system, leading to further reduction of unwanted resonances.

The LH-10000 is equipped with a set of highly advanced connection wires that are identical to those of the Ortofon LW-800S, made from pure silver and silver-coated wire. Silver-coated wire transmits very clear high-frequency signals, resulting in brilliant tonality. The LH-10000 is perfectly suited for a variety of high-end cartridges, including the MC Anna, MC A95, MC Windfeld Ti, Cadenza series, such as Cadenza Bronze, as well as the historical MC A90, MC Windfeld, Kontrapunkt series, and MC Jubilee. The design and mechanical dimensions of the LH-10000 provide an elegant and practically plug-and-play solution between any of these Ortofon high-end cartridges and our TA-110 / TA-210 tonearms. The LH-10000 is azimuth adjustable, which is beneficial for optimal channel separation.
