Orbbec 3D Embedded S

The Orbbec3D Embedded S is a very small 3D camera with a high RGB/image resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels at 30 FPS. The depth images are available in a resolution of 1280 x 720 Px or 640 x 400 Px at 60 FPS. The data obtained can be used for various applications via the USB Type-C port. These cameras are already being used today in the following areas:

• 3D scanners / full body scanners & handheld

This wide range of applications is made possible not only by excellent hardware but also by mature software and driver packages, making the Orbbec Embedded S compatible with ROS, OpenNI2, Astra SDK, and more.

The Orbbec3D Astra Embedded S offers a very compact design with a USB 3.0 connection compared to the Astra Stereo S and Astra Mini.

Resolution in third-party software

When integrating the Orbbec3D Embedded S into a third-party platform like Unity, the "Orbbec.ini" file located in the "StreamingAssets" folder must be adjusted to the desired resolution.
