The FLYPORT Wi-Fi is a miniature web server module featuring a fully integrated 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi interface. The module incorporates a powerful 16-bit processor that runs your custom applications, along with a Wi-Fi certified transceiver that handles connectivity. This version of the board comes with a PCB antenna.

Real-time data can be viewed and updated from a standard web browser, including on smartphones or tablets.

The free openPICUS IDE allows for the creation of applications to import web pages. System integrators only need to be familiar with their own products or applications, as the FLYPORT manages all necessary network interfaces, internet communication protocols, and web pages.

Dynamic web pages are equipped with an innovative and user-friendly method that allows real variables and information from the host system to be displayed or modified (e.g., temperatures, speeds, levels, voltages, switch positions, etc.). HTML or advanced jQuery is used for this purpose. The FLYPORT connects to Wi-Fi networks via access points and routers. It is also possible to connect directly in Wi-Fi ad-hoc mode. WEP, WPA, and WPA-2 are supported.

The internal flash memory of 256 K bytes is sufficient to contain the embedded web server, a communication stack, and an application. The FLYPORT Wi-Fi supports HTTP, TCP, UDP, SNTP, FTP, and SMTP.
