The Argon One Case is one of the most ergonomic and aesthetically pleasing enclosures for the Raspberry Pi. Made from aluminum alloy and polished with a gray finish, the case gives the Raspberry Pi a modern, sleek, and stylish appearance. Its minimalist design keeps cables organized in one area and provides excellent cooling with strategically placed ventilation slots.
The aluminum alloy case not only makes the Pi look cool but also cools it perfectly. It features an extension that connects to the processor via a thermal cooling pad, allowing heat from the processor to be transferred to the case. This means that the case acts as a heatsink, passively cooling the Raspberry Pi so it can operate without generating excessive heat. Additionally, the case comes with an integrated circuit board and a fan that actively provides further cooling. These two cooling systems combined ensure long-lasting operation without overheating. The fan speed can be configured at any time through the terminal, as can the conditions for passive fan speed adjustment.
The enclosure includes a top and bottom cover, four screws, a built-in circuit board, a silicone cooling pad, and a circuit board that expands the audio and micro-HDMI ports. Assembling the parts is simple and intuitive. All that is needed is a Phillips screwdriver to tighten the screws at the bottom of the case. No special tools are required. After mounting the Raspberry Pi and installing the operating system on the SD card, a single-line script must be entered into the terminal to enable the power switch and the fan.
