The M.ZUIKO Digital ED 25mm 1:1.2 Pro (50 mm) offers the ultimate in resolution and speed. The special construction of this lens system enables impressive image quality with the highest sharpness right to the edges of the frame. Practically all types of aberration are minimized, and color fringing is reduced. You can achieve shots with beautiful bokeh and nearly circular blur effects in natural colors, even at night. Even at maximum aperture, you will have outstanding image quality all the way to the corners. By using special lenses and the high-quality construction of the M.ZUIKO Digital ED 25mm 1:1.2 Pro lens, chromatic aberrations and fringing can be eliminated to deliver the clear and sharp images you desire. The compact design of the M.ZUIKO Digital ED 25mm 1:1.2 Pro results in a focusing system that is faster and more precise than ever before: it is equipped with an MSC mechanism. This features a built-in focusing system that drives the autofocus through a single lens element. You can capture every moment without worrying about dust or water droplets. Thanks to the unique Z-Nano coating, ghosting and flaring are significantly reduced - resulting in sharper and clearer image quality.

Key specifications

Lens type

Bayonet lens mount

A lens mount is an interface — mechanical and often also electrical — between a photographic camera body and a lens. It is confined to cameras where the body allows interchangeable lenses, most usually the single lens reflex type or any movie camera of 16 mm or higher gauge. Lens mounts are also used to connect optical components in instrumentation that may not involve a camera, such as the modular components used in optical laboratory prototyping which join via C-mount or T-mount elements.
