With a fast aperture of 1:1.8, it allows for images with remarkable background blur, while the image stabilizer in Olympus cameras based on the Micro Four Thirds standard enables sharp shots without a tripod even in low light conditions.

To ensure that every moment can be captured in premium quality, the wide-angle lens features a clever snapshot focus mechanism and MSC technology (Movie & Still Compatible). The special multi-coating of the lens surfaces, ZERO (Zuiko Extra-low Reflection Optical), minimizes the occurrence of ghosting and lens flare.
