Offgridtec Pro Duo charge controller

The Offgridtec Pro-Duo (MPN 1-01-011200) is an innovative high-end solar controller designed primarily for mobile applications. It allows for charging a wide variety of onboard battery types through the primary charging output (BATT-1). The battery spectrum includes AGM, GEL, and liquid lead-acid batteries, as well as advanced LiFePO4 and Li-NiCoMn battery systems. The secondary battery charging output (BATT-2) is intended for a starter battery that operates at the same voltage level as BATT-1. The device automatically detects the system voltage of the starter battery (BATT-2), and charging of BATT-2 begins as soon as the preset conditions are met. The controller employs an advanced MPPT regulation algorithm that minimizes the maximum loss rate and loss time of the power point, quickly tracks the maximum power point (MPP) of the PV generator, and optimally processes the maximum energy from the PV generator under all conditions. Energy utilization in a PV system with an MPPT controller is increased by 20 to 30% compared to the PWM charging method. If there is no manual operation for an extended period and charging conditions are not met, the MPPT Pro Duo switches to energy-saving mode, reducing the device's energy consumption to a minimum. This behavior also decreases wear and tear on the device, resulting in a significantly longer lifespan. System parameters can be displayed and adjusted directly via the intuitive control panel on the controller or through the MT11 remote control (accessory).
