Product details

Standalone Class 1 Bluetooth module that operates without firmware and external components.

Client applications can be programmed directly onto the module without the need for an additional microprocessor. Both analog and digital devices are supported.

The BR-LE4.0-S3A can alternatively be integrated into an existing design as an HCI Network Processor Device - the host manages the application, while the module provides Bluetooth communication.

The module is equipped with an integrated antenna and supports various Bluetooth protocols such as LE (Low Energy) and standard Bluetooth modes (2V - 3.6V, 31mA). The TI CC2541 SoC used in the module features 256k Flash (8K RAM) and offers a range of up to 100 meters, a maximum data rate of 3 Mbps, and a frequency band of 2.402 to 2.48 GHz.

Features:

  • Frequency: 2.402 GHz - 2.480 GHz
  • Power Output: 4 dBm
  • Sensitivity: -95 dBm
  • Operating Voltage: 2V - 3.6V
  • Current (Receive): 22.1 mA
  • Current (Transmit): 31.6 mA
  • Memory: 130 kB Flash, 2.5 kB RAM
  • UART (2 or 4 Wire with CTR/RTS, 9600 to 560.8K Baud), SPI and I2C interfaces.
