This anti-static wristband provides valuable protection for sensitive electronic components against static charges. The bracelet is comfortable to wear and can be varied in circumference to fit every wrist.
The metal push button is used to connect the flexible spiral cable, at the other end of which there is an alligator clip mounted on a banana plug, which must be connected to earth potential. According to VDE regulations EN 100 015, a 1-MOhm leakage resistor is integrated in the supply line. In this way, static charges are reliably dissipated.
The spiral cable can be stretched to approx. 1.5m. By means of banana plugs and alligator clips, the bracelet can be attached to existing ESD protection material as well as freely to any earth potential, e.g. the housing of a PC.
