Combining a rugged all-metal chassis with professional features like the InnoFADER crossfader, performance pads, instant loop encoder, and toggle paddles for triggering software-based effects, the Scratch sets a new standard in its price range. Numark Scratch offers features and ease of use that are uncommon in this price category. Six FX buttons provide direct access to software effects, including timing and intensity control. These effects are activated by two intuitive toggle paddles, normally found only on premium mixing consoles. Looping is simplified; keep the beat going by holding down the Loop Encoder. Turn the knob to the right to lengthen the beat and to the left to shorten the loop—it's as simple as that.

The professional quality of Numark Scratch is unrivaled, with an impressive 108dB P&T ratio, performance-oriented connectivity, and 24-bit quality. Scratch guarantees you the best sound. It also features a software-independent low/high-pass filter that works with analog turntables as well as software signals. Scratch comes with the full version of Serato DJ Pro and the complete DVS Expansion Pack. With the DVS Expansion Pack, you have the ability to connect turntables or CD/media players and control Serato DJ Pro via Noisemap Control tone vinyl or CDs. With the included Serato DJ Pro license, you can also connect a controller such as the Numark NDX500 for a complete setup. Four performance pads provide hot cue triggering, rolls for creative builds, fast beat-stabbing, and sampler triggering. Software looping controls are located on each channel, providing separate direct access for each channel.
