Product details

The NodeMCU board is equipped with an ESP8266, a small SoC (System-on-Chip) with integrated WiFi and a clock frequency of 80 MHz. This SoC is very versatile. It comes with firmware that can be programmed using Lua. If you prefer to work with Arduino firmware, you can also program the board directly from the Arduino IDE using the same commands.

The NodeMCU is supplied with a Micro-USB port for programming and power supply. Additionally, pin headers are already soldered to allow for breadboard operation without soldering.

The ESP8266 is a pure 3.3V IC - all GPIOs should only be addressed with 3.3V. However, due to an integrated voltage converter on the board, the board can be powered via VIN with 5V to 10V, but only for power supply purposes.

Due to the open design of the board, there are various clones available. We source the boards directly from NodeMCU, ensuring 100% original products.

A small note on programming with the Arduino IDE: The pins are labeled as Dx, where x represents the pin number. When programming the board with the Arduino IDE, you must also specify the pin as Dx, not just the number.
