During this year's school trip, students from various schools – including you – will be sent to the rural Kitakami Province, where the residents live at the foot of mighty mountains. This peaceful region offers a natural landscape unlike anything found in Paldea, featuring rice fields and apple orchards. At this time of year, the villages there hold festivals with a variety of stalls and booths. Meet new friends and Pokémon, and uncover the secrets of the ancient legends of Kitakami.

In this adventure, you will switch from the Orange Academy to its partner school, the Blueberry Academy. Unlike the Orange Academy, which has a long and rich tradition, the Blueberry Academy was recently established and focuses on Pokémon battles. What makes the Blueberry Academy unique is its location – part of it is situated on the sea. Attend classes, make friends with the students, and experience an extraordinary new school life.
