The Nice Plug-Control F is a Z-Wave Plus capable smart plug for devices with grounded plugs, enabling remote control and energy monitoring. This successor model features a color-changing LED ring that visually displays power consumption, switching from green to red when usage approaches the maximum capacity of 2500 watts for continuous load or 3000 watts for peak load. The LED functionality can be disabled or set to a fixed color, and it blinks when power limits are exceeded. The plug provides detailed insights into energy consumption, allowing users to optimize power usage during low-load times and sends notifications when connected devices are activated. It serves multiple functions, including network testing for Z-Wave systems, child safety features with touch protection, and an included adhesive strip for secure attachment in outlets, as well as device failure alerts that prevent the activation of short-circuited or defective devices, thereby enhancing electrical system protection.
