The OPM100 is used to measure the optical power level (dBm) in access, telecommunications, and CATV fiber optic networks. Additionally, the power meter can be used in conjunction with an optical laser source, such as the OLS150MM or OLS150SM from NetPeppers, to determine insertion loss. The OPM100 is equipped with a 2.5 mm interface, making it compatible with SC, ST, and FC connectors. Additionally, the package includes a 1.25 mm adapter for LC and MU connectors. With its compact design and weight of only 300 g, the OPM100 fits comfortably in the hand. The rubber casing protects the testing device from damage. The included lanyard allows the device to be securely hung around the neck, so it doesn't have to be held constantly.
