The DC buffer module MB Cap Ultra contains maintenance-free ultracapacitors as energy storage. This storage is charged during normal operation by an external, regulated DC power supply. In the event of a DC supply interruption, the stored energy is released. The buffer time depends on the charge state of the capacitor and the discharge current.
