The weight savings have been achieved through the redesign of the chassis and the new EPP wheels, resulting in a weight reduction of approximately 200 g. This allows for an even lower flight speed and a better thrust-to-weight ratio. The tuning chassis can also be retrofitted to the existing Funcub XL, further enhancing its outstanding short takeoff and landing capabilities. Thus, it can be used on almost any terrain. Like its predecessor, the new Funcub XL ND features many beautiful details, such as the very elegant LED covers for the optional lighting with the POWER-MULTIlight - a real eye-catcher. Additionally, it comes with a standard tow coupling (an additional HS-225 servo is required for activation) and a large drop hatch, for which a suitable parachutist is also available. Why is the FunCub XL so popular? It flies extremely precisely and maturely! We have equipped it with large flaps, ample power, and very balanced flight characteristics, making vertical climbs, aerobatics with knife-edge flying, and even torque rolls possible. The weight savings of the XL ND further enhance flight performance. The FunCub XL stands out with extravagant construction solutions, setting new standards in its class. It features a remarkably sturdy fuselage thanks to M-Frame technology, stable and lightweight carbon tubes (CFRP) in the wings, offset landing flaps, and a very simple and quick assembly of the model - thanks to the bracing with quick-release fasteners.
