We have achieved weight savings through the redesign of the chassis and the new EPP wheels, resulting in a reduction of approximately 200 g. This allows for an even lower flight speed and a better thrust-to-weight ratio. The tuning chassis can also be retrofitted to the existing Funcub XL, further enhancing its outstanding short takeoff and landing capabilities. Thus, it can be used on almost any terrain. Like its predecessor, the new Funcub XL ND features many beautiful details, such as the very elegant LED covers for the optional lighting with the POWER-MULTIlight - a real eye-catcher. Additionally, it comes with a standard tow coupling (an additional HS-225 servo is required for activation) and a large drop hatch, for which a suitable parachutist is also available. We have equipped it with large flaps, ample power, and very balanced flight characteristics, allowing for vertical climbs, aerobatics with knife-edge flying, and even torque rolls.
