Moleskine Cahier

Cahier is the notebook from Moleskine with a sturdy cover and visible thread stitching. It features 64 pages, with the last 16 being detachable. The paper is acid-free, and the cover has a wide pocket for loose sheets. The Cahier is sold as a set of three and is available in various colors and sizes. The name is attributed to the British writer Bruce Chatwin, who preferred the simple black notebooks from a French paper manufacturer in Tours for his work and affectionately called them Moleskin. In 1997, this anonymous notebook, which had been a carrier of sketches and stories for many artists and intellectuals, was revived by a Milanese publisher. He chose the literature-inspired name Moleskine.
