Product details

This E3D Volcano Nozzle from Micro Swiss is made of M2 (1.3343) steel and has been electroless nickel plated and coated with a WS2 layer. WS2 is a tungsten sulphide coating with excellent friction properties. WS2 reduces the friction value by a factor of 10 compared to conventional PVD coatings. The M2 steel was hardened and annealed to 68 HRC. The nozzle allows you to print at extremely high printing temperatures of up to 450°C without loss of hardness. The nickel coating has a hardness of 70-73 HRC and thus allows you to print highly abrasive materials such as ePAHT-CF nylon carbon, wood or luminous glow in the dark filaments.
