Ich habe zwar ein Surface Book 3 und auch kein USB-C Ladegerät das stark genug ist um mein SB3 zu laden, aber ich kann dir folgendes berichten:
Wenn ich ein Handy-Ladegerät direkt beim USB-C vom SB3 einstecke kommt eine Meldung, dass das Gerät NICHT aufgeladen wird,
Wenn ich ein Handy-Ladegerät beim Travel-Dock einstecke kommt diese Meldung NICHT.
Sieht also eher nicht so aus als ob das Laden via

The USB port on surface pro 5th gen supports only up to 5 Gbps while the type C one on surface pro 7 and the new devices supports up to 10 Gbps. I don't have a surface pro 5 to test what works, but I would recommend looking for a port that is designed for a 5 Gbps connection.
