It is the year 50 BC. All of Gaul is occupied by the Romans... all of Gaul? No.

A village inhabited by indomitable Gauls continues to resist the invaders. Life is not easy for the Roman legionaries stationed in the fortified camps of Babaorum, Aquarium, Laudanum, and Kleinbonum. Life is peaceful in the small Armorican village, where the residents steadfastly go about their usual activities. The two heroes, Asterix and Obelix, go wild boar hunting, the blacksmith and fishmonger argue fiercely as usual, and the chief is majestically carried on his shield across the village square.
