Mayku FormBox

The Mayku-FormBox puts the power of manufacturing in your hands. Powered by any vacuum cleaner, it works with a wide range of materials and helps you turn your ideas into reality. Whether you manufacture by hand or with your 3D printer, the FormBox is your very own desktop production line. Household vacuum cleaners can be connected to the Formbox via a universal connection. A thermoplastic plate is heated by a radiant heater to a freely adjustable temperature between 160C and 340C. A built-in loudspeaker emits a signal tone to indicate that the plastic is completely heated. The Mayku Formbox is perfectly suited for the production of moulds, packaging or even art objects. Especially in combination with a 3D printer, simple templates can be created, which are then realized with the Formbox. Thermoforming can be used to make moulds for concrete or plaster, but also for food products such as chocolate, ice cream or pudding. There are no limits to creativity. Included are 15 cast and 15 mould sheets each. Both types have a thickness of 0,5mm.
