This Type 23 socket is mounted in a device box in the wall. It allows for the connection of devices operating at 230 VAC with a maximum current consumption of 16A, while also accommodating standard Type 13 plugs. Thanks to the terminal blocks, the connection is quick and easy.

The IP55 protection class provides complete dust and contact protection (IP5X) as well as protection against water jets (IPX5) for the assembled device. This protection is ensured with an inserted IP55 plug as well as with the hinged cover closed. With its IP55 rating, it also meets all requirements of the standard SN 441011.
