The settings are factory pre-set, so it feels right out of the box and only minor adjustments need to be made to suit individual preferences. This means more time for playing and less time for setting up. The interchangeable drives (sold separately as part # ACF-DD and ACF-SD) allow players to purchase just one pedal while still having the freedom to experiment with the differences between chain, belt, and direct drive. It also enables double pedal players to use different drives for each pedal to balance the feel between the left and right foot. The interchangeable beater weights, variable beater height, and adjustable beater angle allow for easy and precise adjustments of torque and power. The smaller size of the base plate makes it easier to position a double pedal around the legs of the snare stand and closer to the hi-hat pedal.
