Manfrotto MLH1HS-2 Tilt head

The MLH1HS-2 Manfrotto Tilt Head with Flash Shoe is the next generation tilt head, replacing the highly successful MLH1HS head. Retaining the main features that made the MLH1HS so popular, the MLH1HS-2 offers a range of new and improved functions. The newly designed umbrella hole is now angled, allowing flash units to be positioned more centrally in the middle of the umbrella for a more even light distribution. The increased locking torque on the tilt knob ensures a secure tilt position, which is important to prevent movement of the light angle during a shoot. The new locking mechanism is designed for use with any tripod or equipment item with a 16mm pin (5/8").

The head is manufactured in Italy under the highest standards. Manfrotto's innovative balancing mechanism remains a key feature of the tilt head with flash shoe, providing maximum safety thanks to its spring-loaded system: it prevents accessories from accidentally falling and potentially getting damaged. With a maximum load capacity of 2 kg, the new Manfrotto tilt head can easily support the latest professional lighting equipment, including flash or LED lights. With the unique intelligent safety ring of the new Manfrotto tilt head, users can easily and securely attach the selected accessory: simply loosen the ring to open the shoe, slide the accessory in, and tighten the ring to secure the flash shoe attachment. This allows you to quickly and safely start shooting.
