It features 25 full-size velocity-sensitive keys, presets, and DAW buttons for automatically mapped DAW instruments and plugins, along with a Smart Chord mode that allows you to play enharmonic or custom chord voicings. The Smart Scale mode eliminates wrong notes, while the arpeggiator includes controls for type, octave, gate, and swing. Additionally, there are two banks of eight velocity-sensitive trigger pads each with Note Repeat for beat production, and transport buttons that allow you to control your DAW without using the mouse. The display provides instant feedback on parameters, and the ergonomically shaped pitch and modulation wheels enhance usability.

The MIDI editor software and a complete software production package, including Ableton Live Lite, MPC Beats, two virtual instruments from AIR Music Technology (Hybrid, Mini Grand), and five MPC Beats expansion packs are included.
