The Danish designer was inspired by a trip to Tivoli in Copenhagen, where colorful balloons and cotton candy, charming old carousels, and shimmering fortune wheels swirl cheerful colors into stripes. Louis Poulsen offers the unusual shape that resembles a circus tent and a droplet in three sizes: All lights, painted white on the inside, reflect the light of a bulb that can be used independently and possibly dimmed externally, yet they seem to direct the light more or less straight down to illuminate a table, counter, reading, or work area.
