The 1517L Zero-Bezel Touch Monitor is designed with a robust industrial design "built for touch" for continuous use in public environments. It offers style and performance with a variety of features for enhanced functionality. It is well-suited for public facilities where Point-of-Sale (POS), Point-of-Information (POI), Point-of-Service, interactive digital signage at shelf and counter levels, customer engagement systems, and kiosk information systems can be found. The optional 3-track magnetic stripe reader (MSR), which can be programmed for either HID or keyboard emulation, is easily installed by the user and provides a sleek, integrated solution that requires no external mounts or attachments. The 1517L features two leading zero-bezel touchscreen technologies for a smooth, easy-to-clean surface: the AccuTouch five-wire resistive technology, which is most commonly used for retail applications and is proven to withstand liquid spills, food, and grease; and the iTouch pure glass surface wave technology for the highest optical quality in dry retail and hospitality applications. The Elo 1517L is a 15" (38.1 cm) LCD touchscreen monitor with a 4:3 aspect ratio, a response time of 25 ms, a resolution of 1024 x 768 (XGA-2), an adjustable display angle, 16.2 million colors, a contrast ratio of 700:1, a brightness of 250 cd/m², and LED backlighting.
