It can be challenging to keep distance with USB-C. Due to technical limitations, most USB-C adapters and docks have a maximum length of 15 cm. This may not be sufficient for a dock to reach the desk when connected to an iMac. Additionally, the cable mess next to the MacBook Pro can be annoying. The LMP USB-C to USB-C extension cable transmits data including audio and video (DP Altmode) at speeds of up to 5 Gbit/s, as well as power (up to 3A 20V) over a distance of 1 m. It can be used to extend the reach of a USB-C video adapter, a USB-C dock with various ports, or your USB-C power supply. More reach, more freedom!
