The Lindy USB 2.0 smart card reader allows access to a variety of smart cards from a PC or Mac computer with a Type A USB port. It supports relevant industry standards such as ISO 7816, PC/SC 1.0/2.0, and many smart card protocols. It can be used for e-banking, electronic payment methods, digital signatures, authentication, e-government, and more.
The Lindy USB 2.0 smart card reader is powered via the USB bus. After installing the drivers, the card reader can be connected to the computer. The smart card can then be inserted and used.
