Lindy

The Lindy 200 m Fiber Optic USB 2.0 Extender supports much greater distances than standard copper cables. It is a compact two-part hardware solution consisting of a transmitter dongle that connects directly to the computer and a receiver dongle that connects to the USB peripheral device. These are then connected via LC multimode simplex fiber optic cable. The small form factor of the extender allows for easy and discreet installation, while the use of fiber optic technology helps eliminate the possibility of electrical interference in the extended signal. The extender is ideal for remote desktop connections, industrial controls, monitoring, and external storage applications, enabling remote access to USB keyboards and mice, printers, scanners, webcams, audio devices, disc burners, external drives, and much more. Connecting a USB hub to the receiver allows for additional access to a larger number of USB devices. For added convenience, the Fiber Optic USB 2.0 Extender comes with a power supply that can be connected when extra power is needed.
