The Lindy 50m USB 2.0 Cat.5 Extender can be used to extend the distance between a USB peripheral device and a host computer by up to 50 meters. It consists of a local unit that connects to the computer and a remote unit that connects to the device. A cost-effective Cat.5e/6 standard network cable is used to bridge the connection between the two units (not included). For added convenience, this USB 2.0 extender comes with a power supply that can be connected if additional power is needed.
