Cat.6 F/UTP CCA network cable with support for bandwidths up to 250 MHz and a snagless design with gold-plated contacts for Ethernet standards up to 1GBase-T. Cat.6 cables are designed for operating frequencies up to 250 MHz in a shielded version with foil shielding (F/UTP). Cat.6 cables are widely used in professional settings and are ideal for Gigabit Ethernet or AV extension applications. These cables are manufactured and tested according to the ISO/IEC 11801 specification. The cables are individually packaged in a polybag.
The gold-plated contacts ensure reliable, corrosion-free connections over long periods. A robust, strain-relieved construction prevents damage to the connector latch during installation and removal.
The high frequencies used in networking cause a high current load in the outer layers of the conductors due to the skin effect, while the conductor cores are exposed to very low electrical loads. This allows for the use of copper-clad aluminum (CCA) as the conductor material, making this cable more cost-effective than pure copper cables.
