With the Lindy Cat.6 HDMI 4K60, USB, IR, and RS232 KVM Extender, users can control a source device such as a PC from a single keyboard, mouse, and display up to 100 meters away via a Cat.6 RJ45 cable. The support for HDMI 18G signals allows for the transmission of high-resolution 3840 x 2160 @ 60 Hz, making it perfect for detailed content in control rooms, medical facilities, or security installations. The extender is ideal for KVM applications and consists of a transmitter and a receiver unit; the transmitter must be connected to a source such as a PC or KVM switch, while the console with display, keyboard, and mouse connects to the receiver.

Thanks to the bidirectional IR ports on both sides of the setup, the source device can be seamlessly controlled from the display side, and the display can also be controlled from the HDMI source device.
