Lindy HDMI 2.0 EDID Emulator

This compact adapter has been specifically designed for applications where a reliable availability of the EDID must be ensured at all times. It stores and emulates the EDID of a display, allowing signal sources to maintain the signal without shutting it off or altering it, even in the event of a disruption – ideal for applications involving AV/KVM extenders, switches, or splitters. Adapters like this are also used in the field of IP solutions to permanently simulate the connection of a display to the graphics cards of a PC or server for remote control. With a maximum resolution of up to Ultra HD 4K 60Hz (via cloning), including High Dynamic Range and the ability to pass through HDCP 2.2 content, it is suitable for all contemporary IT and AV applications.

Some computer systems, KVM switches, or digital signage systems may interrupt the transmission of EDID data. Some also lack the ability to pass the information directly to the video output of a graphics card. These adapters can be used to quickly and easily clone exactly this information, allowing the graphics card direct access to the correct data of the display. The cloning process takes less than 10 seconds. It is also possible to use the emulator without cloning display data.
