Product details
The Lindy DisplayPort 1.4 EDID Emulator Adapter has been designed for systems that require an uninterrupted signal to overcome EDID-related issues commonly encountered when using AV devices such as KVMs, extenders, splitters, and switches. The emulator also features LED indicators to ensure a quick and easy installation process. With support for resolutions up to 7620x4320@30Hz or 3840x2160@144Hz HDR (via cloning), HDCP 2.2, and DPCP 2.0 passthrough, this emulator is perfect for use with Ultra HD 4K monitors, displays, and source devices. A headless EDID adapter allows for a simulated connection to the video source device without the need for an actual monitor to be connected. With its small and minimalist design, this is a practical connection solution for AV and IT installers to ensure that both older and newer DP devices operate seamlessly and without performance loss. This adapter allows for the EDID data of the DP display to be quickly and easily cloned, giving the graphics card direct access to the correct display data. The cloning process takes less than 10 seconds; alternatively, the EDID emulator can be configured with a preset EDID that uses the most common resolution/timing combinations. A complete breakdown can be found in the technical details section. Note: When the EDID emulator is in headless mode, a restart will set the default resolution to 3840x2160@60Hz, 4:2:2, 8Bit.
