Building an extender system with multiple segments and lengths over 8 m:

  • The USB Type A socket features a hook mechanism to prevent the unwanted removal of USB plugs from additional extension segments. Therefore, only USB cables or correspondingly slim USB devices can be directly plugged into this socket!.
